Itinerary
- Departure: 5:00 AM – Pick-up from Ollantaytambo or Cusco
- Drive: Approximately 3.5 hours to Pacchanta, a small Andean community near Ocongate
- Optional: Horse rental for non-hikers $50
7 Lagoons Trek
The trek begins in Pacchanta (4,300 m.a.s.l.) and takes 3 to 5 hours, with a 500-meter elevation gain. The first stop is Hatun Pukaqocha, where we take in stunning views before continuing through the circuit that includes seven turquoise and emerald-colored lagoons surrounded by snow-capped peaks and native flora and fauna.

After the trek, enjoy a delicious traditional lunch prepared by locals with fresh Andean ingredients.
Return Trip
We return by private transport to Ollantaytambo, Sacred Valley or Cusco (approx. 3.5 hours), with optional scenic photo stops along the way.
