Day 1: Perolniyoc Waterfalls – Raccaypata Fortress
We start in Ollantaytambo and travel to the community of Socma, where our adventure begins. The trail has a gentle ascent offering views of the canyon of the Sacred Valley surrounded by towering peaks.
We reach our campsite for dinner and rest under the Andean stars, preparing for a day of exploration ahead.
Day 2: Huayllarpata – Inti Punku (Sun Gate)
The surrounding mountains rise above 5,000 meters (16,400 ft), offering a stunning sunrise. We hike undulating paths to Inti Punku, an Inca site meaning “Sun Gate”, overlooking Mt. Veronica (Wakaywilka) and valleys like Patacancha and T’astayoc.
After exploring, we return to our camp, rest and enjoy a hot dinner prepared by our team.
Day 3: Inti Punku – Ollantaytambo
We wake up to breathtaking views of Ollantaytambo and descend to the Inca quarries and Raccay fortress, where the Incas sourced and carved the stones for their imperial city.
We follow an ancient Inca trail down to the Inca bridge and into the heart of Ollantaytambo, where we’ll help you reach your hotel or your next destination.
